NAP Responds to Senate Finance Committee Options Papers on Alternatives for Health Care Reform

The Senate Finance Committee has been issuing important policy options papers as the debate continues on the nature of actual legislation for healthcare reform.

The first options paper outlined options for reform of the health care system. NAP's comments were to promote a broadened definition of accountable health care systems, consistent with NAP's policy paper, and to encourage the testing of a variety of interdisciplinary health care models, not just limit consideration to the Medical Home and transitional care as outlined in the document.
